About the Sustainable Truckee Bike Valet

The Sustainable Truckee Bike Valet is a free, bicycle parking service offered at Truckee Thursdays and Music in the Park. Easy, convenient bike parking allows event attendees to avoid parking and traffic hassles, reduce carbon emissions, and stay active!

Bikes are kept in an enclosed pen monitored by Sustainable Truckee Ambassadors. Arrive early, as bike parking is limited.

‍Truckee Thursdays valet is located at the corner of Bridge Street and Jibboom Street, directly across from Alibi Ale Works - Truckee Public House: Google map directions. ‍
Music in the Park valet is located at the tennis courts in the Truckee River Regional Park: Google map directions.

Both events are conveniently located off of Truckee's scenic paved paths. These paths connect many Truckee neighborhoods, and provide a gorgeous ride through the forest with stunning mountain views. Thank you for riding slow & sharing the trail with all other users.

How it Works

The Bike Valet involves three simple steps:

Drop off your bike with a Sustainable Truckee Ambassador & get a valet ticket.
Keep your ticket in a safe place! Tickets must be presented to claim a bike.
Pick up your bike by 8:30pm. Unclaimed bikes will be left behind and are the owner's sole responsibility.

Volunteers Needed! Help run the Bike Valet as an Ambassador

Help out with the Sustainable Truckee Bike Valet and join our community of Ambassdors! There are five positions, providing opportunities for everyone to get involved as much or as little as your schedule allows: Staff Ambassador, Volunteer Ambassador, Secret Steward, Virtual Ambassador, and Youth Ambassador.
