Stella at Gravity Haus

Stella at Gravity Haus Sports Hotel

Stella retains the cozy charm of its open kitchen and inviting garden patio that captured your heart, but now it boasts an entirely revamped menu fueled by local California farms. This includes sustainable seafood such as line-caught Himachi from California. Chef Jesse Frate has crafted the menu anchored by their wood-burning oven, promising flavors reminiscent of campfire comfort elevated to a new level. Indulge in highlights such as the Black Cod from California's coast served with cabbage in a yuzu beurre blanc, or savor the wood-fire braised short ribs glazed with tamarind guajillo pepper, accompanied by locally sourced white cheddar grits milled on-site at an Auburn farm.

Cuisine at Mountain Lotus Provisions

Mountain Lotus Cafe

The Mountain Lotus Café offers a diverse lunch menu featuring an array of sandwiches, tartines, salads, and bowls, along with a selection of hot and cold drinks, adult beverages, and seasonal elixirs. The café's California cuisine, with a Pacific Rim twist, is primarily plant-based and crafted from whole organic ingredients, promoting health, mindfulness, and longevity. Chef Raymond Applegate artfully prepares dishes that embody the café's commitment to quality, sustainability, and the celebration of diverse flavors.

Tangerine Bistro in Downtown Truckee

Another addition to the restaurant portfolio is a classic French bistro you’d find in the bustling metropolitan districts of New York or Paris. Enter Tangerine Bistro, named after the iconic Led Zeppelin song, and discover a menu as remarkable as its namesake. Indulge in traditional French dishes with a distinct Truckee twist, such as the duck foie gras pâté paired with blackberry jam. Experience the culinary harmony of pork shoulder served alongside tarbais beans, or savor the richness of a 24 oz côte de bœuf steak frites. Tangerine Bistro brings a touch of sophisticated French flair to the Truckee dining landscape.

Rakkan Ramen in Truckee Raley’s Shopping Center

What began in 2011 as a humble 4-seater establishment in Nishiazabu, Tokyo, is now one of Truckee's latest dining hotspots. Located in the same shopping center as Raley’s O-N-E Market, Rakkan Ramen at its core is Japanese soul food. The menu features five distinct ramen bases: AMBER (soy sauce base), PEARL (salt base), GARNET (miso base), SPICY GARNET (spicy miso base), and QUARTZ (creamy base). Noteworthy is their 100% plant-based broth, allowing you to customize your bowl to perfection. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or a fervent protein lover, Rakkan Ramen has something delectable for every palate.
